Nike is proud to welcome Jonathan Gonzalez to its European surf team. Known by his peers as one of the most stylish surfers in the game, the Spanish rider Jonathan Gonzalez is able to command just about everything that’s thrown at him with a grace and ease that’s hard to fault.
Whether charging big waves on his home island of Tenerife in the Canaries, tackling heavy barrels, surfing crazy slabs or just mixing his powerful basic surfing with big new school turns and tricks, Jonathan, nicknamed the Black Shark has been touted as one of the most rounded, naturally gifted surfers to come out of Europe.
As well as being credited for his free surfing skills, Jonathan has been competing on the WQS for 7 years, claiming a number of scalps along the way and being no stranger to the podium, he is without doubt a surfer on top of his game.
